lyrics

And when the lights turn low
We become buried in the shadows
The damaged seeds we sow
They become reasons for our sorrow
Take your truth to the grave
Your descension means nothing to no one
If everything you loved is fake
Chase your moods in the maze
Your confession is violently touching but lacking
In your own embrace

You don't feed into my needs
When you bleed inside it's me
Take heart your work of art
It's just a bit part for the absentee
Fever dreams in the darkest sea
Blacken our souls with fearful ease
It's proof that we tear apart
The foolish ways of the devotee

And when the streetlight bends
Realization seeps in
And all the stoplights blend
We refuse reasons to pretend
The mirror siphons your traits
Neglecting to mention the sadness
You conjured with every mistake
Tears of the dying will take
Any vision of hope and ambition
you honored with envy away
